Often described as a playground for the wealthy, Singapore is an excellent travel destination that offers an abundance of attractions. The city-state does gleam with wealth, but budget travellers often find their way to Singapore and enjoy their holiday to the fullest. Among the attractions of Singapore are luxury hotels, shopping malls, nature parks, restaurants, and amusement parks. Singapore is often visited by families looking for a fun-filled holiday.

Gardens by the Bay
One of the many humanmade attractions in Singapore, Gardens by the Bay is a popular family attraction. This green space serves Singapore by pumping clean air into the city. The Bay East Garden is the best part of the place for kids; the vibrant plant life is a draw for anyone who loves nature. Another unmistakable feature of the place is Supertree Grove, a cluster of structures that support plant life. The Cloud Forest Dome is another highlight you shouldn’t miss. Gardens by the Bay is frequently featured on Instagram pages, and you may also see it on My Singapore Travel.
Botanic Gardens
Another family attraction of Singapore, the Botanic Gardens, is the first natural attraction to earn Singapore a UNESCO World Heritage nomination. The city sometimes feels like a jungle of buildings, and Botanic Gardens stand in perfect contrast by providing a respite from the bustle. A walking path leads to the garden’s heritage trees; these are the main highlight of the garden for being the only remaining mature tree species in the city. National Orchid Garden is another place you must visit.
Singapore Zoo
Every tourist – even the business travellers who are here for events and festivals in Singapore – visits Singapore Zoo. Thought to be the best rainforest zoo in the world, Singapore Zoo is a fascinating place studded with lush vegetation. A range of animal species takes shelter in the zoo, and they include zebras, mole rats, white tigers, kangaroos, and chimpanzees. If you happen to be here at the right time, you’ll be able to witness a feeding session. A family with kids needs at least three to four hours to explore everything the zoo offers. Singapore has several other places that make you feel closer to nature; Jurong Bird Park is one of them.
Marina Bay Sands
The famous Marina Bay Sands is another must-visit; the Marina Bay Sands Observation Deck and the ArtScience Museum are two features of the place loved by both kids and adults. Skypark offers views that stretch over to the Gardens by the Bay; the observation deck is among the best places to see the charming skyline of Singapore. At the rooftop is a restaurant serving delicious snacks and drinks.
Orchard Road
Singapore offers plenty of shopping opportunities; some tourists visit the city just for shopping. Orchard Road is an excellent place for shopping excursions. The area is packed with malls and shops selling designer items. You might not be able to do anything on the cheap here, but every product is of good quality. Your kids can enjoy their favourite movie at one of the movie theatres; this region also has numerous eateries that serve delicious food and drinks.
Singapore Flyer
In addition to spectacular panoramic views, the Singapore Flyer, the largest observation deck in the world, offers high tea in the lounge. You can select from a range of packages and be spoiled and served. The views encompass the Singapore skyline, Malaysia’s Straits of Johor and the Spice Islands of Indonesia. Every package gives you access to the Journey of Dreams, a museum with exhibits that speak of the city’s history and the history of the Singapore Flyer. A flight is 30 minutes, and the flyer operates from morning until late evening.
